This policy explains how subscription cancellations and refund requests are handled for purchases made directly through ShwePlay.
1. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel future renewal from the available account or subscription controls. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access normally remains available until the end of the already-paid billing period unless the plan or payment channel states otherwise.
2. When a refund may be approved
We will review requests involving a duplicate charge, a charge after a confirmed cancellation, an incorrect amount, or a verified ShwePlay technical failure that prevented meaningful access during the paid period and could not be resolved.
3. Requests that are normally not refundable
- Change of mind after the subscription or paid content has been used.
- Issues caused by an unsupported device, the user's internet connection, account sharing, a violation of our terms, or circumstances outside ShwePlay's reasonable control.
- Promotional, trial, complimentary or already-refunded access.
- Fees charged separately by a bank, mobile operator, wallet or other third party.
4. How to request a review
Submit a request through Contact Us as soon as possible and preferably within 7 calendar days of the charge. Include the account email, transaction reference, charge date, amount and a short explanation. Never send a password, one-time code or complete payment-card details.
5. Review and payment timing
We aim to acknowledge a complete request within 3 business days. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method where possible. Banks and payment providers may require an additional 5–10 business days to display the credit. Actual timing can vary by provider.
6. Third-party purchases
If the purchase was billed by an app store, mobile operator, wallet or reseller, that provider's refund process and decision may apply. We can help identify the correct channel but cannot reverse a payment controlled by another provider.
7. Fair review and statutory rights
We may request reasonable evidence to prevent fraud and may restrict accounts abusing the refund process. Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Each request is reviewed on its facts and applicable requirements.
